PewPew

Good old fashion arcade action. Not just as far as game play goes, but the style also.
Pew Pew is aptly named. It consists of several modes of play in which you control small moving craft that shoots er... vectors in any direction, independent of motion. This is enabled by two different directional thumb controls.

As you could imagine, such games often get very hectic. A laudable feature of Pew Pew is the auto pause. If you lift your thumb off the moving control, the action automatically pauses. So there's one worry swept away.

Each game mode will pit you against different enemies and challenges. For example, Asteroids resembles the classic Atari game in which you need to dodge big floating chunks of polygons and blow them into smaller ones until they threaten you no more. In "Dodge this" you won't be able to shoot at all.

I know that it sounds like there's a lot of dodging but I guarantee you there's a lot of shooting also. Besides pounding strong bulky enemies that explode into shrapnel, you will also need to deal about fighter swarms, constricting columns all all sorts of dangerous polygonal machinery.

Scoring high will give you medals which help unlock new and more powerful ships. If you ever wanted to brag about your achievements, you'll be happy to know that besides scores, you endeavors are also recorded and can be played back from the records list.

There are a few for displaying the mayhem, one of witch is a dual screen. I guess that if you are equipped with a stereo viewing contraption, you could take advantage of this. Otherwise it looks really wild.
